Voice

l’ll be honest, I’m no thespian. I’ve never felt the lure of performing on stage and screen. However, people say I have a nice voice, and I’ve had the opportunity to lend it to a variety of projects over the years. If you like what you hear and want me to contribute to your project, head over to the Contact page and drop me a line!

Games

My most notable contribution to the world of game voices is as an announcer, namely in sports announcer type voices. In addition, I’ve been asked to play several video game characters, including everything from street punks to the Vice President of the United States (seriously). The vast majority of this involves me getting beat up, so lots of grunts, groans, and screams of pain. I’ll dig up some samples of that stuff soon.

I’m the voice in SEGA’s Hummer arcade game, wherein I say the words “go” and “take down” about 547 times per race.
Here’s an even more gruff, throat killing performance as the menu / in-game announcer for SEGA’s Harley-Davidson: King of the Road.
In Kurohyou 2, I play the super-hyped ring announcer starting at 1:20, as well as Tatsuya’s opponent before that (but the lines are cheesy, so I’d rather you just skip that part.)

Promotional

I’m asked to do narration for a variety of projects. A lot of them are for events or promotions that don’t have handy-dandy YouTube links I can embed, sadly. I’ve done work that spans the gamut from pop idol groups like Morning Musume to the following video, which is a promotion for SEGA’s Wacky World of Sports, where the director asked me to play as a foreigner with an Osaka accent. I nailed the first part at least.
