Hi! I’m Marc Cellucci of the Clan Cellucci, and I’m pleased as punch that you’ve come to my little corner of the web.
So what can I tell ya? Well, let’s start at the beginning…
I was born in San Antonio, Texas (home of your San Antonio Spurs). After moving around a lot during my youth, I eventually found myself at the Texas Academy of Mathematics and Science at the age of 16, where I majored in basketball, baggy pants, and hair gel (it was the ’90s). I somehow eked out a National Merit Scholarship, and then went on to Texas A&M University, from where I eventually graduated with BAs in Journalism and International Studies.
After graduation and a brief stint at San Antonio’s own GlobalScape, the creator of CuteFTP, a dream came true when I was hired by SEGA and began my career in the video game industry.
After about three years at Sega.com, I decided to pursue another dream, and moved to Japan to study Japanese. Over two decades later I’m still here. After stints at Koei and SEGA of Japan, I formed my own development studio, and have somehow made a living staring at a computer all day.
I used to have a bunch of hobbies, namely music and gaming. ThenI had kids, and anyone who’s done that knows how it goes. The good news is that the kids are getting older now, and I have a bit more me time, so I plan to do a lot more writing, music, and all that good stuff.
Oh, and I do have a bit of a workaholic streak, so if you need help doing anything software and/or Japan related, check out my list of services.
So thanks for coming to Cellucci World! I hope you have a pleasant stay.
